WTS Custom Western Trail Saddles are handmade by Old Order Amish craftsman and built on Steele Equi-Fit saddle trees, USA-sourced leather, and stainless hardware. These western trail saddles can be custom ordered for Gaited Horses, Tennessee Walking Horses, Missouri Fox Trotters, Standardbred, Morgans, Quarter Horses, Semi-Quarter Horses, Straight-Back Quarter Horses, Arabians, Andalusians, Draft Horses, and Mules.
NOTICE: Our Old Order Amish craftsman is in the process of moving and setting up a new shop. We are estimating June 2025 before we are able to take new saddle orders.
We currently have one Quarter Horse saddle with a 16 inch seat ready to ship.

Saddle Construction & Fitting
Our custom western trail saddles are built on Steele Equi-Fit Saddle Trees — an American owned and operated company since 1859. The saddle trees are either all wood and fiberglass covered for strength and waterproofing, or fiberglass covered wood fork and cantle with molded elastomer bars to flex with the movement of your horse.
If you don’t already know the saddle tree you need, we have a new straightforward process for determining the correct fit for your new western trail saddle.

All our saddle prices INCLUDE taxes and shipping within the United States. What you see is what you pay. Every “Custom” saddle may be customized with your choice of seat size, leather color, seat color, smooth or rough out combination, and saddle tooling.
