WTS Custom Western Trail Saddles are handmade by Old Order Amish and built on Steele Equi-Fit saddle trees, USA-sourced leather, and stainless hardware. These western trail saddles are customized for the Full Quarter Horse, Standard Quarter Horse, Semi-Quarter Horse/Arabian, Gaited Horse, Walking Horse, Draft Horse, Straight-Back Quarter Horse, and Mule.

Saddle Construction

Our custom western trail saddles are built on Steele Equi-Fit Saddle Trees — an American owned and operated company since 1859. The saddle trees are either all wood and fiberglass covered for strength and waterproofing, or fiberglass covered wood fork and cantle with molded flexible elastomer to flex with the movement of your horse.

Each custom western trail saddle includes the letter designation for the fit design by breed. If we do not have the saddle size and saddle fit you need in stock, we will provide a quote upon request. In most cases the amount will be very similar to our stock saddles.
