Old Order Amish craftsman, Henry Miller, who made saddles for Dixieland Gaited Saddles, has a new shop in Virginia and is ready to make your new saddle.

Our new ordering process makes it possible to buy a Western Trail Saddle (WTS) directly from Henry Miller by a mailed order form.

*Shipping also includes insuring your package and time for a buggy ride into town to the closest UPS store. Your saddle or replacement parts will not have only been made in an Amish shop, but will have been transported in an Amish buggy to the shipping location.

Customize Your Western Trail Saddle

All our saddles are custom made to order by Henry Miller upon receiving your printed and mailed order form with your payment check. It takes 5-6 weeks to complete your order due to the 4 week time to have your saddle tree made. Henry can can answer your questions by phone when you initiate the conversation by a written letter. Henry’s mailing address is included at the bottom of the page.

Saddles You Can Customize

Every order must be placed by printed order form and mailed to the Amish saddlemaker. The Saddle Tree you order when you complete your printed order form determines if the saddle is made for a quarter horse, gaited horse, draft, mule, etc.
