Holster and Gun Belt Measuring Guide

The length needed for making a custom Western Holster is different than the manufacture’s published barrel length. For revolvers, the length in inches from the barrel tip to the hammer is needed. The length needed for automatic pistol holsters if from the barrel tip to the rear sight. There is a place to enter this length on each WTS holster order form.

Your waist measurement and belt size are NOT the same. Most belt sizes are two inches smaller than your actual waist measurement. For your western gun belt measurement we would like your actual waist measurement where your belt will be riding. We highly recommend taking a new measurement with a tape measure just to be sure. Provide us with your most recent actual waist measurement when ordering.
